We meet in a 100-year-old building in the heart of historic downtown Muscatine. Our expansive building doesn't look like a typical church. When you walk in the door:
We believe in giving back to God. Many in our fellowship follow the practice of tithing which means to give 10% of your income back to the local church for ministry, outreach and facility expenses. This act of generosity opens up the abundant provision from our Heavenly Father. Malachi 3:10-12 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. 12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.
We do not have "tithing police" and no one will ever ask you about how much you choose to give. That is between you and God.
Who wants a free lunch? Four times a year we provide a free luncheon following the service during which families who have recently started attending.

- Greeters will welcome you by shaking your hand and offering you a gift thanking you for your visit.
- We offer free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or ice water in the cafe' located at the rear of our worship center. Feel free to take your beverages to your seat as church begins.
- We begin our upbeat services with a short video, a welcome from our worship leader and a time of praise and worship. We have a worship team using drums, guitars, bass, keys, and singers who lead us into the presence of God.
- We have an orthodox liturgy in our tradition. Because of this, we pray the Lord's Prayer and recite the Apostle's Creed as our statement of faith and belief in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; however, we are also completely open to the Holy Spirit's leading which may lead to a time of impromptu prayer.
- Communion is served every Sunday and we offer it to children as well as adults. We feel it is a time of relationship with Jesus. He invites us to know him and his love for us and he calls to children as well as adults. We leave the decision for children to participate in communion up to the parents.
- Prayer for felt needs follows communion. It has historically been a time of healing of physical, emotional, and spiritual woundedness. Our trained prayer team will meet for prayer following each service, if requested.
- Following communion, children are dismissed to the appropriate age group classes. Learn more about our children's ministries here.
- We have times of ministry for youth. You can learn more about it here.
- We have fall and winter life groups for men and women as well as couples and family events. These are held at various times and the schedule is currently undergoing a major change in locations, leaders, and subject matter. You may see updated information here for our current available classes.
