Welcome to our Vineyard virtual community.
We are celebrating 15years in Muscatine. As far as churches go, that's not a long time, but when we started this Vineyard "experiment" with a handful of hopefuls many thought we wouldn't last 15 months!
Jamie and I are blessed to remember so many wonderful moments that kept us going even when the temptation to pack-it-in was overwhelming.
Such as; our first winter transition from a city park shelter to a rented store front, the Hallelujah Chorus done in sign language, mission trips to Mexico, an original musical production, March for Jesus Parades, our food pantry, city wide 24 hour prayer and fasting, our "Red brick home overlooking the Mississippi", and all the answered prayer for healing, deliverance, and salvation.
Yes, Jesus is ever faithful as we continue to grow His Kingdom. We lift Him up, and he draws men to Himself.
As we begin a new chapter in our ministry to Muscatine, we are focusing on growth. The soil has been carefully prepared, and our vision theme is from John 15:5
"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
NLT
