What is Worship?

In the Vineyard, worship is not just about music.

It's about INTIMACY  - the relationship between God and man.   It's about entering into His presence and telling God all we love about Him and praising him for  who He is.   As worship leaders, we should engage people and draw them into a place where they can talk/sing, listen and respond to God and His great love.

It's about ACCESSIBILITY -- Bringing the people in the room into a place where they are ready to come with hearts prepared and expecting God to meet them.

It's about AUTHENTICITY -- There is no room for pretending when we truly worship.   We are to be ourselves before God.  Not who someone else thinks we should be.

Musicians and Singers

Our worship leaders would like to develop three separate and distinct worship teams.    To that end, they will be conducting rehearsals on Monday evenings at 6:30.

After a few weeks of rehearsals, the teams will be fine-tuned and each team will sing in our Celebration Service at least one Sunday per month.   

All teams will be combined for our (Easter) Resurrection Sunday service.

Do you play an instrument not already on our team?   Great.  We would love to have you.

Can you carry a tune?  Or keep a beat?   Come on down.  Do you love to worship?   Because that's what it is all about.
