There are many who believe the church exists to serve them. At the Vineyard we don't subscribe to that theory.
We believe we are here to serve God and we do that best by serving others.
It's why we call our women's group "Minsitry to Women" instead of "Women's Ministry." Everything we do should come out of a desire to see one another served. Needs met. It's why we have over 164 opportunities and ways of serving in the church.
Serving may be as simple as getting someone a cup of coffee or giving a smile and a warm handshake to the next person in the door. Serving may look like someone who is on their knees asking God to heal a friend or a loved one, or maybe just someone they just met.
