Ministry to Women Teas
Currently in our eighth season, our Ministry to Women Teas have been drawing women from neighboring cities and area churches to our monthly gatherings. Each monthly tea from September through May offers a time of encouragement, hope, laughter, worship and prayer ministry. The teas draw women of all ages... from teens through the young at heart and we are amazed at the relationships God has developed with these women of varied ages and diverse interests. The teas meet at 10:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month. Each tea is free and open to the public. Free child care is provided. Enjoy our Coffee Pot Bible Study on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Ministry to Women Retreats We offer two annual retreats to help nourish the soul, refresh the spirit and engage the mind. The first was November 12 and was held at Saulsbury Recreational Area in Muscatine. We featured the Ultimate Makeover: Becoming Beautiful on the Inside. The second retreat will be in April of 2012 and will be our eighth retreat. More information will be posted as it becomes available. | Ministry to Women
Our mission is to connect women with Jesus so that they can personally experience His life-changing grace and discover His will for their lives. We believe Jesus is interested in all of life. So we deal with a range of issues affecting women, from things like single parenting and divorce to sexual abuse and domestic violence. We believe that as we grow in our relationship with God, by learning the Bible, praying and forming Christian friendships with other women, our lives will be changed. Throughout the year we host nine teas, two retreats and oversee small groups, providing women with opportunities to learn and grow in their relationship with God. We've seen dozens of women transformed who are now sharing with others the grace and the truth they have experienced from Jesus.
